Yachts resting in the sheltered waters of the Bay of Islands
The yacht / Sensation

Small enough to feel yours. Equipped for the adventure.

Meet Sensation: our New Zealand designed and built Farr 1020. A capable, comfortable 34-foot yacht for a holiday on your own terms.

One yacht. Our full attention.

Welcome to your home on the water.

Sensation is the only yacht in our bareboat charter fleet. That means personal attention from Travis and Rachel, and a boat we know inside and out.

Her layout is well suited to two couples or a family. Two double and two single berths provide flexible sleeping arrangements. Talk to us about the right setup for your crew.

Something else on your mind?Ask Travis & Rachel
What is a bareboat charter?

You hire the yacht privately and sail it yourself, with your own crew. Sailing experience is essential, and a sailing résumé is required before a booking can be confirmed.

How many people can stay aboard?

Sensation is well suited to two couples or a family. She has two double and two single berths. Please discuss children and your full crew with us before booking.

What should we bring?

Plan your food and drinks, personal items, suitable sailing clothing and non-marking shoes. Linen can be hired for $30 per set. Ask us about your packing list before arrival.

Can we explore at our own pace?

Yes. Bareboat sailing lets you plan your own days within the agreed cruising limits. Choose anchorages to suit the weather and your crew, and follow the handover guidance and hire agreement.
